Recreational Attendant
Role Summary
In managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the establishment, one ensures that guests are warmly welcomed upon their arrival and provided with the necessary assistance during their departures. This includes addressing their requirements at the main desk to create a smooth experience. Furthermore, maintaining the swimming pool is a critical task, where the focus is on keeping the area clean, safe, and visually appealing for all guests to enjoy. Alongside these duties, performing routine manual tasks is essential in upholding the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and overall appearance of the company facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for everyone.
Role Functions
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle all front desk-related activities, including: answering phones, checking members into the system, new member sign-ups, and taking prospective members on tours.
- Process membership and class payments, cancellations, and freezes.
- Book classes and court reservations and maintain rental logs (including swimming & running logs).
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club (bathrooms, offices, hallways, windows, sidewalks, and pool deck).
- Administer first aid or CPR according to prescribed procedures and notify emergency medical personnel when necessary.
- Keep the pool and hot tub clean and up to safety standards (measure pH/chlorine, vacuum, inspect valves/drains/decks).
- Develop working knowledge of the Recreational Services Fitness Program to provide customer service in the Fitness Center.
- Provide assistance to patrons by correctly spotting basic lifts.
- Receive and record Pool chemical supplies.

Role Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or guest relations.
- A passion for fitness and health with an upbeat attitude!
- Punctuality and reliability are a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact positively and professionally.
- Basic computer proficiency and mathematics.
Certifications
- First Aid and CPR/AED Certification for the Professional Rescuer (Required)
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Continual standing, walking, and talking in person or on the phone during shift.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Visually recognize an emergency, distinguish colors, and utilize peripheral/distance/close vision.
- Wet or humid conditions; exposure to motor noises, potential toxic/caustic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
Fitness and Racquetball Director
Role Summary
Glass Court Swim & Fitness is hiring a Full-Time Fitness and Racquetball Director to lead and grow our fitness and racquetball program and community. This role owns programming, leagues, clinics, court scheduling, member engagement, events, and revenue growth, while maintaining excellent fitness spaces and court conditions and a welcoming, inclusive culture for players of all levels.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead all fitness and racquetball programming: group fitness, personal training, leagues, ladders, tournaments, clinics, lessons, and special events.
- Manage fitness floor operations, personal training staff, and group exercise instructors.
- Drive participation and retention through member engagement, outreach, and community-building across both fitness and racquetball.
- Manage court scheduling/reservations, the group fitness class schedule, programming calendar, and utilization targets.
- Recruit, hire, train, and coordinate all fitness instructors/personal trainers, racquetball pros, and event support staff.
- Partner with Membership Director on tours/trials and convert prospects into racquet and fitness participants and members.
- Maintain fitness area and court standards: cleanliness, safety checks, equipment maintenance, and reporting repair needs.
- Track KPIs: court utilization, league participation, group fitness class attendance, personal training revenue, lesson revenue, event revenue, and retention.

Qualifications
- Required: 3+ years experience running fitness and racquetball programs, leagues, or club operations.
- Required: Strong knowledge of fitness floor safety, personal training best practices, group exercise formats, racquetball rules, and player development.
- Required: Current certification from a recognized organization (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM) in Personal Training or Group Exercise, or a degree in Exercise Science or a related field.
- Preferred: Experience managing a fitness department (budgets/staff), teaching/coaching experience, and experience with club software (Jonas a plus).
- Preferred: Inclusive coaching experience (welcoming beginners, adaptive or neuroinclusive approaches).

Lifeguard and Swim Instructor
Role Summary
Swim Instructors will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for multiple clients of different ages, abilities, and skill levels. At times, Swim Instructors may be asked to perform ad hoc business-related duties as well. This role typically reports to the Aquatics Director.
Role Functions
- Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety.
- Ensure lesson objectives adhere to procedures and methods as referenced in the Training Manual and during in-service training.
- Educate and enforce safety rules. Strive to prevent accidents and maintain discipline. Administer first aid in the event of injury.
- Complete all paperwork as it pertains to student records and progress reports.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe pool environment for clients, staff, and the general public.
- Act as a company spokesperson at community events by educating potential clients and community members on water safety and drowning prevention.
- Display excellent customer service and communicate with everyone who comes to the facility. Smile and have fun during the entire shift!
- Able to operate the pool covers when needed.
