Teen Swimming Instruction (Beginner to Advanced)
14+ yrs old (8 max) • 30 minsTeen Beginner Swim Class: Introduction to water safety, increasing comfort levels in our indoor pool. Build foundational swimming skills and aquatic confidence.
Teen Intermediate Swim Training: Endurance Development: Building stamina to swim multiple lengths (e.g., 50 yards or more). Stroke Refinement: Improving Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly technique. Breathing Techniques: Developing rhythmic side-breathing and proper air management. Turns & Starts: Introduction to open or flip turns. Deep End Skills: Treading water (3+ minutes) and retrieving items. Body Position: Maintaining a high, horizontal position to reduce drag.
Teen Advanced Competitive Swim: Must know all four strokes—Freestyle, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly with turns, and have knowledge of time clocks and sets. Swimmers at this advanced level are typically competitive and often participate on a swim team.

Youth Swim Club & Competitive Training
11-18 yrs old (18 max) • 60 minsSwim Club 1 (1 HR Competitive Intro): Must be able to swim 2 lengths of the indoor pool using a face-in-the-water beginner stroke. It is preferred that the student has mastered Youth Intermediate prior to enrolling. Freestyle with rotary breathing, Backstroke, and endurance drills are taught, with an introduction to Breaststroke and Butterfly. Includes a swim team-style environment with start/stop stroke drills, streamlines, and flip turns. Expert coaches are mainly on the pool deck during class. No diving. We do not have blocks. Swim caps, goggles, and one-piece suits required.
Swim Club 2 (1 HR Intermediate Conditioning): Must be able to complete a nonstop 200 IM (50 yards each of Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Freestyle). Swimmers typically have prior youth swim team experience. Focus is on kick, swim, and drill-based conditioning, with continued refinement of all four competitive strokes. Emphasis is placed on endurance and speed through proper form, including flip turns, open turns, and pullouts with longer drills. Coaches are mainly on the pool deck during training. We do not have dive blocks. Caps, goggles, and one-piece suits required.
Swim Club 3 (1 HR Advanced Training): Strong understanding of stroke drills, interval training, and competitive swimming rules. Training focus is on proper alignment, stroke technique, speed, and longer endurance sets while heavily refining all four competitive strokes and turns. This program primarily features swim sets and drills expertly designed to build maximum endurance and flawless technique for competitive athletes.

Swimming Pool Rules & Regulations
Lifeguards are required for additional safety. Accidents may still occur. Adult supervision is strongly advised. All swimmers must obey all aquatic facility, indoor pool, slide and diving board rules. REMEMBER, you are responsible for your own safety. Please observe the rules and decide if you can safely participate. The following rules are provided to ensure a safe and fun visit to the Glass Court Swim & Fitness Facility.
Aquatic Facility Rules:
- Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. All persons participating in swim programs must check in at the front counter and sign a release of liability waiver.
- All patrons one year and older require paid admission into the complex whether you are swimming or not.
- Lifeguards are required for pool parties of more than 20 people for $35/hour for additional safety. Drowning may still occur. Adult supervision is strongly advised.
- Food, drink and candies are not allowed on the pool deck or track areas. Food, drink and candies are only permitted in designated cafe area. Ice chests, handbags and backpacks are subject to search.
- Glass and Styrofoam containers are not permitted inside the aquatic center.
- No liquor permitted.
- No smoking permitted.
- No climbing on equipment, structures, or pool deck chairs.
- Portable stereos or radios are not permitted in the pool area.
- No running or horseplay allowed on the pool deck.
- No gum, seeds, or shells of any kind are permitted in the swimming pool.
- No glitter balloons or piñatas.
- Table covers are required for events. If plastic table covers are used, only use easy-to-remove tape such as scotch tape. DO NOT use double sided tape.
- Bamboo skewers are not allowed in the trash can.
- No sitting or hanging onto the lane ropes.
- Party rental has access to the family swim side. Lap swimming lanes are reserved for Glass Court members.
- Fitness areas, weight rooms, saunas, hot tubs as well as the cardio areas are not included in the pool rental.
Indoor Pool Rules:
- All swimmers must shower before entering the swimming pool. Hairspray, gel or lotion must be rinsed off to maintain water quality.
- All patrons entering the swimming pool must wear appropriate swimming attire. T-shirts, cutoffs and denim shorts are not allowed.
- No glass or sharp objects near the water.
- Longer than shoulder length hair should be put into pony tail or braided, or wear a bathing cap when swimming.
- Sunscreen needs to be applied 30 minutes before going into the outdoor pool.
- Do not enter a pool unless a lifeguard/adult supervisor is present and on duty. No swimming when lifeguards/adult supervisors are not present.
- Swim diapers and a cloth cover or rubber pant are required for infants and toddlers.
- Diaper changing in locker room areas only. No paper or cloth diapers allowed in the pool.
- No diving in less than 6 feet of water.
- Swim trunks with liners must be worn at all times.
- $10 off for second swim class in the same session. Lesson purchases can be shared or transferred among immediate family members. All swim lessons expire 6 months from purchase date.
- An annual processing and registration fee is charged once per calendar year, per swim student: $10 members and $25 non-members.
- Glass Court reserves the right to change student placement so that everyone has the best possible learn-to-swim experience.
- There are no refunds or makeups for missed swim classes.
- Student must be an active member to receive member pricing on swimming lessons.
- Glass Court reserves the right to cancel or combine swim classes with less than 3 enrolled students.
- Parents must remain in the building during indoor swim lessons and provide direct supervision for all their children when not in class.
